PF Claim Status 2021: Provident Fund are some things about which we all are aware. Our employers deduct it and remit it towards our PF Account.
We have read in my previous article about UAN – Universal Account Number with the assistance of which we will track our account balance, check interest accumulated, check periodic payments added towards our monthly deduction of PF, how can UAN remain an equivalent even once we have transferred our jobs from one employer to a different .
PF Claim Status
However, once we are in need of cash , it’s vital for us to understand on how can we withdraw the cash from our PF Account. and the way can we check the status of the PF withdrawal request made by us.
So, allow us to get a quick insight about how can we obtain the claim status of our Provident Fund (PF).
With the up gradation in technology, all the aspects associated with addition and withdrawal of PF became online. So, now PF claim status are often checked online.
There are two ways to see PF claim status:
On UAN Portal
On EPFO Website
Let us understand these two ways in detail:
A) On UAN Portal (Universal Account No. Portal)
Visit the UAN website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ After visiting the web site , Enter your UAN, enter your password then enter the captcha characters to login into your account.
After you log in to your account, attend the “Online Services” section and choose “Track Claim Status”. it’ll redirect you towards another page.
On clicking “Track Claim Status” within the newly opened website , recently updated claim status are going to be displayed.
By observing it, you’ll understand what’s this status of your claim and if there are any errors or discrepancies in it. just in case of any error or discrepancy, you’ll rectify an equivalent and resubmit your PF Claim.
B) On EPFO Website (Employee Provident Fund Website)
Visit the EPFO website https://epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php. After visiting the web site , you would like to click on “Our Services” then you would like to pick “For Employees” from the sink .

After clicking on an equivalent , a replacement website will appear. during this webpage, under Services head click on “Know your Claim Status”. On clicking it, you’ll be asked to click on “Click here to urge redirected to passbook application”. (This has been done to stop leakage of private data of members and to stop fraud and to avoid mishandling of your PF account).
On clicking the above tab, you would like to check in into your account using your UAN and password.
After signing in, you would like to pick the Member ID and click on on one among the choices which is – “View Claim Status”. Upon selection of this section, you’ll view last updated claim status details on the webpage.
In the above two ways, PF claim status are often checked online.
