New Delhi: CEO of Tesla Elon Musk on Monday gave a shout to Indian talent in America after Parag Agrawal was appointed as Chief Executive Officer Twitter.
“USA is profitable very than Indian talent!” Mr Musk said in a tweet.
The businessman replied to a tweet about how people from Indians are now at the top of several top technology companies such as Microsoft, Google and IBM.
Mr. Agrawal, 37, is the latest Indian people to lead a US-based technology company, following people like Google-Parent Alphabet Sundar Pichai CEO and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
On Monday, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey announced that he would leave the company. Mr. Dorsey drove social networks during the presidency of the presidency Donald Trump and survived an activist investor ouster offering in 2020.
Mr. Agrawal took Twitter control when the company wants to direct growth and stay away from a free speech battle.
He joined Twitter in 2011 and became the main technical officer in 2017. In his message to the staff, Mr. Dorsey said that Parag Agrawal had been behind every critical decision and had helped change the company.
“He leads to the heart and soul, and is someone I learned from every day. My trust in him as our CEO is Bone Deep,” Dorsey said about Mr. Agrawal.
