Termination of Yahoo Chat Room Service
Finally, on July 17, 2018, Yahoo! Messenger is closed completely. But some were replaced by a new service called Yahoo together which was also stopped on April 4, 2019. So now, Yahoo has no replacement for its messenger service.
This is a general action taken by well-known services such as Yahoo to stop full for some of their services. They are always looking for areas where they have more scope of growth even if it means ending existing. There are other major factors as well as dropout users, the emergence of competing services, lost money, etc., which are considered before making such decisions.
As a statement released by Yahoo, they end Yahoo Messenger to prevent time and resources for other communication tools as well.

There are a number of apps that have been discovered over the years such as Facebook Messenger, Skype, Whatsapp, and Chatt Room. All these services may not work similar to Yahoo Chat Room but they will definitely serve the purpose of sending text messages, images, videos, or making audio or video calls.
