Larsen & Tubro conglomerate techniques on December 2 announced that it would jointly have it and operate hydrogen green projects with green energy producers supported by Goldman Sachs.
“In this agreement, L & T and the extension will jointly develop, own, implement and operate green hydrogen projects in India,” said a shared statement.
Commenting on this partnership, SN SubrahManyan, CEO & MD Larsen & Toubro said, “Partnership with this extension is an important milestone on the way to building a green energy portfolio for L & T.”
SubrahManyan said that hydrogen green is a promising alternative fuel and the lever is important to reach a cleaner future.
“L & T is very interested in adding value to this space outside the traditional EPC approach and hopes to work with an extension,” he added.
Chairperson & CEO Renew Sumant Sinha said that hydrogen green would be the main drivers of the transition to a cleaner energy source and the partnership would allow both companies to gather their knowledge, expertise, and resources to take the maximum advantage of this transition.
