In the midst of increasing gas input costs, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of natural gas pipes (PNG) to ₹ 4.25 per cubic meter standard (SCM) which is effective from Thursday in an effort to include an increase.
IGL has notified that PNG will now cost ₹ 45.86 per unit in Delhi and ₹ 45.96 per unit in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. For people in Gurugram, PNG costs will be ₹ 44.06 per SCM.

Meanwhile, opposing a steep increase in CNG prices, hundreds of taxi drivers and automatically held protests at Jantar Mantar last week and demanded revisions of tariffs and threatened to carry out unlimited attacks from April 18 if their demands were not fulfilled. “We want justice. We have given the ultimatum to the central government and also the city government to carry out unlimited strikes from April 18 if our demands are related to reducing the level of CNG or the revision of taxi and auto rates are not fulfilled,” Rathor said, “said Rathor PTI.
