“Their salary will be $ 0 if …”: Elon Musk targets a Twitter board

New Delhi: Elon Musk took friction on the Twitter council today, the day after the company adopted a “poison pill” to protect himself from takeover bid. “The board salary will be $ 0 if my offer is successful, so ~ $ 3 million / year is stored there,” Musk tweeted in response to the user’s posts that criticized the board.

Musk is currently 9.1 percent of shares on Twitter and is the second largest shareholder of social media companies. Earlier this week, Tesla’s chief executive had offered to buy a company of $ 43 billion.

Elon Musk, “free absolutist” described itself, has criticized Twitter policy. On Thursday, he asked 80 million followers on the Micro Blogging platform if “Taking Personal Twitter at $ 54.20 must be up to shareholders, not a board”.

Then, Tesla’s chief executive also tweeted “Love Me Tender”, an Elvis Presley song, after Twitter chose a plan to sell shares with a discount to prevent the efforts of shareholders to collect more than 15%.

Musk has tweeted several other product ideas since buying shares on Twitter, from removing ads to the Edit button. He also asked followers whether the company’s headquarters must be converted into homeless shelters.
